On this site, you will find information about Virginia's health insurance programs: FAMIS - the Children's Health Insurance Program; FAMIS MOMS - for pregnant women; and FAMIS Select - Premium Assistance Program.

FAMIS is Virginia's program that helps families provide health insurance to their children and pregnant women. Health insurance is important to make sure that kids are able to get all the help they need to grow up healthy. FAMIS stands for Family Access to Medical Insurance Security.
